I was born and raised on Galveston Island, so I know the Island well. Previously I worked in banking. I worked my way from teller to Southwest Regional Trainer. After getting married, I switched careers and went into the Insurance field. I worked here for over 25 years and still maintain this license. I am experienced in both residential and commercial insurance, which makes me an asset when shopping for a home. I'm married and have a daughter that recently graduated from Texas A&M University. Once my daughter began college, I decided to go back to school and get my Real Estate License. It has been a very rewarding decision. Sommer is the TCR Galveston Office Manager. She assists in the sales and marketing of Galveston properties in addition to coordinating the other TCR Galveston Agents. In addition, she manages the TCR Vacation Rental Program. Prior to working for TCR, Sommer served as a Transaction/Advertising Coordinator in real estate. In this role, she assisted agents in advertising and social media to gain prospects as well as train new agents with tools to grow their business.
