Kim Gordon Schorre wants to be your Realtor, whether you are buying or selling almost anywhere in the Houston area. A resident of Memorial for more than 30 years before moving to West University, Kim knows the history and potential of neighborhoods and homes from inside the Loop to Cinco Ranch and beyond better than anyone, and she is determined for her clients to benefit from her knowledge.

In fact, there is much that Kim brings to the real estate arena that sets her apart from her colleagues. First, she learned how to open and sell houses from a practicing pro – her mother, who has been a Realtor for 23 years and continues to serve as an inspiration to Kim. Second, because of her prior experience in new home sales where she was a top producer for 12 years.

Working with several of the top builders in the business selling new homes in several different master planned communities in Houston, Kim knows all of the ins and outs of new home construction. She can easily spot well-built construction and energy efficiency, and knows the strengths and weaknesses of most Houston area homebuilders. She is also familiar with how incentives work and how to negotiate a good price.

Having taken classes in Feng Shui design, Kim learned how other cultures perceive a home’s construction, what certain features mean, and the importance of particular details – like where a staircase is located. It’s those types of insights that have made her such an asset to relocating buyers who represent a large percentage of her business.

Kim’s persistence, outgoing personality, diplomacy, honesty, sense of humor, and love for hard work put her clients at ease and aid in her success. In short, she is more than qualified to act as Realtor for buyers seeking new homes and sellers leaving existing homes.

A native Houstonian who attended the University of Texas and graduated from the University of Houston, Kim says her life and career have been greatly influenced not only by her mother but also her father, who is a successful entrepreneur known by his devoted employees to be good and fair.

She is married and has one son of whom she is extremely proud. She volunteers at his school and serves as team mom for his baseball team. When she is not directly helping clients or watching her son play football and baseball, Kim loves traveling with her family, playing tennis, snow skiing, and working out.
