I was born and raised in Pearland, and grew up with 5 generations within eyesight of each other on a small farm. After graduation I moved around Clear Lake and eventually called Friendswood my home with my husband, son, and daughter. I am part of a team of highly knowledgeable Realtors that support each other. Knowledge and education are a priority and I take time to learn the constant changes regularly. In addition to real estate I also have over 10 years of personal insurance background. I love meeting and learning your stories. I believe in the golden rule of treating others as you would want to be treated and want you to feel comfortable and confident in the sometimes-overwhelming process of being a homeowner. Lasting friendships are icing on the cake! I enjoy entertaining with the numerous neighbors who have become dear friends and volunteering as coach to my son's soccer team and daughter's t-ball. Additionally, I believe in being active in the local community, like to travel, and strive to constantly grow by stepping further outside of my comfort zone and trying new things.

LeAnn Shoemaker joined the Christy Buck Team as a Sales Agent in October of 2019 after retiring from 27 years in public education. She spent time teaching every subject in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades, and worked for Pasadena, Clear Creek and Friendswood school districts. Having completed a long career helping students reach for and achieve their dreams, she now looks forward to helping her clients and their families realize the dream of home ownership. Living in southeast Houston her entire life has given LeAnn an appreciation for the area's rich history, as well as special insight into its growth and development patterns. Her experience in three of the area's local school districts gives her a unique understanding of the quality education options available to buyers, and her own children have attended both public and private schools. Now, LeAnn is excited to bring this valuable experience to her clients at The Christy Buck Team. She appreciates the brokerage's atmosphere of trust and support among its agents, and says it's clear that in every transaction the number one priority is always a commitment to the client. She is also a member of the Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society, which helps foster and rehabilitate abused, neglected, and abandoned horses from all over Texas. She enjoys spending time with the horses as well as traveling with her husband, entertaining friends, and going out to hear live music.

Kelly's passion is her clients. She was born and raised in Galveston, Texas and currently lives in League City and Tiki Island, Texas. After attending Texas A&M and graduating from University of Houston with a Marketing degree, Kelly worked in the Banking industry for many years. She then went on to attain her Mortgage Loan Originator License and her Real Estate License. She loves the relationship aspect of real estate and getting to know her clients. No two transactions are alike and that challenge is intriguing to her. She will be along side of her client every step of the way to make the buying or selling process enjoyable.

When Kelly is not working with her clients, she is enjoying her children and grandchildren. Kelly also enjoys working out, eating out and boating with her husband, John.
