“If you are looking into buying a house to live with your loved one or your family, please read my review and use caution when working with him. We came to Sattar and told him that we are new to the country and we just lost our loved one. We asked him to help us find a good house which meant for us a move-in ready house to live in after very stressful months. We trusted him because he was from our country and we spoke the same language. I lost my mom over cancer a couple months ago, and my family went through devastating moments in the past year from dealing with her treatments and passing. To honor her memory and wishes, we wanted to purchase a house for us to live in- me, my sister, and our father. Every house we saw with him, he would just make compliments about the positive aspects of the house. If I would point out something of concern regarding a house, he would tell me that I’m being too picky. I did not see it as picky because this was a major purchase for us, and we put our trust in his experience and expertise in the process because it was our first time buying a house. Our home buying process lasted approximately 2 months, and we put offers on 3 houses which we ultimately lost. At this point, Sattar was tired of us and made the comment “all of my clients that started looking for houses at the same time as you have already bought a house, except you guys.” Instead of working with us to purchase a house that fits our needs and wishes, we felt pressured by him into buying a house that put us in tens of thousands of debt in repairs above the loan amount because he just wanted to close the deal. It was concerning because he didn’t even help us negotiate the price, but instead told us to trust him since assured us that we would be able to negotiate during the option fee period. We expressed our concerns after inspecting the house, and he told us not to cause problems for the purchase instead of truly negotiating for our best interest like he told us he ”
