Expansion of Woodlands Parkway
Location: East Panther Creek Drive to Gosling Road, and Gosling to Kuykendahl
Description: The fifth and sixth lanes of Woodlands Parkway are being constructed from East Panther Creek Drive to Gosling Road, and from Gosling Road to Kuykendahl, including modifications to traffic signals and relocating of fiber optic lines and other utilities. The eastbound lane is now completed, and the westbound lane should be completed this summer

Sterling Ridge Connector to FM 2978
Location: Greenmoor Drive in May Valley
Description: Greenmoor Drive in May Valley is being extended to connect to FM 2978. Construction has begun, and opening is planned for this summer

Town Center Landscape Enhancements
Location: Main streets in The Woodlands Town Center
Description: On street parking is being added on Lake Robbins Drive, Timberloch Place and Waterway Avenue. Streetlights, street trees and landscaping are being added on Six Pines Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Timberloch Place, Woodloch Forest Drive, Waterway Avenue and Waterway Square Place. Construction is underway with completion planned for this summer


Kuykendahl Road Extension
Location: Kuykendahl Road and FM 1488
Description: The extension of Kuykendahl Road to FM 1488 is being designed by TXDOT


Water Well Construction
Location: Northwest corner of Woodlands Parkway & Grogan’s Mill Road
Description: Two water wells are being constructed by the San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) to provide the necessary water supply for this service area. Construction is underway and both wells should be completed in October, 2010.
