Believe it or not, a pool can add to your value, if your remember these 6 easy value enhancements:

(1) Pool needs to be well maintained. The major components such as the pool pump and heater must be in good working order.

(2) The water should be clean and clear, with good filtration, circulation and chemical levels.

(3) Pool needs to have attractive landscaping and fencing which enhance the aesthetic beauty of your backyard oasis.

(4) Install safety measures such as door alarms and self latching fence gates to address Buyer safety concerns.

(5) Offer a home warranty that covers the Buyer for a year after closing, especially if you own an older home.

(6) Consider staging the pool area in order to sell the lifestyle of owning a home with a pool.
