Are you planning on buying or selling a home in Houston, Atascocita, Kingwood, Dayton or the surrounding area in 2018? If so, before hiring the first Real Estate agent that you find it's important for you to remember that buying or selling a home represents what could be the biggest financial transactions of your life that's why it's important to hire the right Realtor(R) by using the following criteria.

#1 – Hire an Experienced Realtor

Although many people have just started in Real Estate this year, you should hire an experienced Atascocita Realtor because experienced agents will know the area well and they may even be able to help you find homes for sale in Atascocita before those houses are listed on the MLS.

To confirm that your Real Estate Agent is experienced you shouldn’t hesitate to ask them for referrals to the last three clients that they’ve served and you should also look online to see if there is feedback for them on websites like Trulia, Zillow or Facebook.

#2 – Hire an Agent Who Makes Customer Service Their Priority

When hiring an Realtor(R) you should also choose an agent who makes customer service their #1 priority because buying a home will most likely be one of the biggest financial commitments that you make in your life.

You will want to work with someone who is available to answer your questions, address concerns that you may have, and most important of all listen to what you’re searching for in a home, so they only show you homes that match your search criteria and not waste time.

#3 – Hire an Atascocita Realtor Who Is An Experienced Negotiator

Last of all, but most important, you should hire an Atascocita Realtor who is also a skilled negotiator because, during a competitive Real Estate market it’s easy for buyers to bid more for homes than what they are worth and you should hire an agent who knows the market well and will keep you from overpaying for a home.
