Good evening to all,

How is everyone doing! If anyone has any questions or would like to chime in on my bs... Please do!!!

Any-ways tonight, I wanted to talk about the delicious elixir they call coffee! Ohh soo good! Well I know starbucks can be an ideal go to, and why not... they are open early, some stay late, and of conveniently placed! There are three located within less then .1 mile radius over in River Oaks area (Shepherd, and West Gray) so don't get me wrong... I tend to stop in one more times then none...

But in the heights area there is so many gifted coffee places that some more then the other have the right touch and the dedication to make the perfect cup of jo'.

  1. Morningstar: 4721 N Main St, Houston, TX, 77009, Just opened up a few months back, and has the local Greenway coffee co. stamp, and their guys care about making a good cup of coffee for you to enjoy. Plus it's a donuts shop! So what is not to ask for.. and they take pride into their fresh donuts!
  2. Boomtown Coffee: 242 W. 19th St., Houston, TX, 77008, A great cup of coffee who roast locally as well! Open early in the morning through the early evening. Come in and enjoy a nice breakfast or come in for the afternoon upper! Or even perhaps grab an early dinner!
  3. Red Dessert Dive: 1045 Studewood Dr, Houston, TX, 77008, A great place to end your weekend night, by getting a delicious pastry and wash it down with a cup of boomtown coffee. Although I haven't tried, they do have some other availabilities like sandwiches, and breakfast items then just dessert!
  4. DownHouse: 1801 Yale St, Houston, TX, 77008 , Now the last time I was here I wasn't very pleased with the quality of the food or the coffee drink I had ordered... But none the less they use Cuvee coffee out of Dripping Springs, TX, and it is nice quality roast. Not as good as other places in Austin, or Houston with Greenway, Boomtown, Southside... But I have been there where the brunch is great, fairly priced, and even dinner is trypically great too! Nice beer selection, and bartenders to whip up a nice cocktail!
  5. Maryam's Cafe: 315 W. 19th St., Houston, TX, 77008, A little fabolous cafe that does it all in house! A great healthy place, and great italian coffee. What else is to ask for?! Ohh wait they are dog friendly and have doggie treats... Whaatttt?!?! Need I say more?

Well you all have a great night, and maybe try out one of these places for morning pick me up!
