Should you sell your home over the Holidays?
Absolutely not just because I want to sell your house. People are visiting relatives during the holidays and may be planning a move. We see a lot of traffic during the holidays yes it can be inconvenient but warn guest ahead of time and use it as an opportunity to shop or explore the city with your guest.
The other question clients ask a lot is should I or shouldn't I decorate. I think decorating is wonderful and it gives your home life. I would suggest a few things, keep the decorations at a minimum.

Maybe a smaller tree if possible

Pick 1 color not 3 or 4 to use through out the home

Never leave candles burning unattended

Set a plate of cookies on the counter, next to festive paper napkins for guests
I wouldn't place gifts under the tree keep those in a closet, till Christmas Eve for safety reasons.
Always remember my motto less is more when it comes to decorating for the Holidays.
