Sugar Land will host its annual food drive at City Hall, 2700 Town Center Blvd., from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 6.

The city is partnering with KTRK Channel 13's Share Your Holidays Food Drive. All donations will benefit East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Cash donations or checks made payable to East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry will also be accepted.

The Channel 13 "Share Your Holidays" Food Drive benefiting residents of west Fort Bend County will be 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Dec. 6 at B.F. Terry High School, 5500 Ave. N in Rosenberg. It's at the corner of Avenue N and FM 2218.

The food drive is sponsored by the Rose-Rich Community Involvement Association, Chick-Fil-A in Greatwood and Rosenberg, the Rosenberg Chapter of the Woodmen of the World and the Rosenberg Lions.

To ensure nutritious donations, event organizers recommend canned goods, beans, dried fruit, flour, rice, sugar, powdered and canned milk, baby formula and other nonperishable food items. Diapers are also needed
