Gratitude/Gratitud

During my lifetime, gratitude has been present, but I would say that gratitude was present after achieving something or receiving something. We humans are conditioned to receive or achieve before we can feel grateful.

Never did I think before about the potency of feeling before receiving, until I found some powerful meditations. In reality, what we humans are searching for is the feeling, not really the material object or desire. We can experience the feeling; we can imagine the experience - it is all available to us, but how?

Think about all those times when you daydream - have you realized that as you daydream you feel like you are there; you experience the feeling that you would like to feel. As you practice this mental rehearsal, as you meditate and you make this practice a daily activity, you begin to trust, to know that what you are looking for has always been there. You realize that the connection with God is within you and all around you and the gratitude is a constant state of being, bringing a sense of peace and wholeness.
