The Flash vs. Spiderman and the Real Estate

You might be wondering what The Flash and The Spiderman have anything to do with real estate. They do. What is one thing common between all superhero movies and real estate? Marketing!

The one most important this my mentor taught me in real estate is "Marketing". I even finished a continued education "CE" course on the same subject in relation to my real estate education. Can any superhero movie be successful without marketing? Probably! But would it be as successful as it is with the marketing that they do without the marketing? Probably not.

The Flash, the DC Comic superhero movie is released today in theaters around the world. We have been hearing big buzz about this movie. I am a father of a teenage daughter and twins, a boy, and a girl that are seven years old, Jamil and Jamila. I promised my kids that I will take them to watch "The Flash" this weekend. They have been counting the days. Honestly, I am like Flash too. I watched The Flash on Netflix up to its six seasons on Netflix (mostly, all in covid-19 pandemic days). This morning I asked my seven years old son Jamil. "Flash or Spiderman". He replied, "FLASH" and smiled. Even though Jamil wears a Spiderman jacket almost every day to his school. Why, suddenly, he became a big fan of "The Flash" after being a diehard fan of "Spiderman". Simple answer, MARKETING!

Recent marketing of the movie "The Flash" not only got to me but to him as well. This is how important is marketing in real estate as well!

Especially, when it comes to selling your house. A real estate agent does many things for his client. Marketing is one thing among many things a real estate agent does especially when a house is being listed. Marketing in the right platforms, channels, and in the marketplace which only real estate agents have access to is crucial. Decluttering the house first before listing, and organizing. De-personalizing the house, and making it appealing to others. Staging the house, and having a professional take photos of your house are a few important steps among many that we cannot overlook. A real estate agent helps their clients to do all this. Most of the time real estate agents do all marketing for their clients at no upfront cost to the clients. That's the risk or investment real estate agents do in their work when representing their clients. Marketing is very important in all aspects of real estate. If big giants such as Marvel and DC Comics or even Fast and Furious movie makers are doing it for their movies. We must for better and faster results when comes to selling our house or listing one.
