Hi friend,

I wanted to share a few suggestions with you incase you are visiting soon and are not sure where to start. I included some of my favorite restaurants, attractions, model homes to visit and even open houses! I hope you find this list helpful during your stay, especially if it is your first visit.

Places To Experience

Houston Art Trail - this has a number of public sculptures displayed throughout the city. These sculptures range from realistic to abstract and come in many shapes and colors.

Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park - The Waterwall is one of Houstons most beloved, iconic landmarks. To stand in its mist and be enveloped by the gentle roar of cascading water is one of the citys most memorable experiences. Walking along its lush canopy of towering live oak trees while in the heart of one of the largest business districts in the nation is inspiring.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving - iFly in the Houston area has state-of-the-art wind tunnels, and is open to all ages. You dont need to have any experience either—theyll teach you! Whether youre planning your next corporate team building outing, a birthday party, or a fun activity with friends, iFly could be the unique experience youre looking for!

The Escape Game Houston - We provide you with a unique and exciting experience. You and your team will enter an immersive environment where you’ll have 60 minutes to follow clues, solve puzzles, and complete your mission! You might escape. You will have fun!

ExitusVR - They offers multiplayer virtual reality games with classic escape room scenarios. They allow you to experience things youd never be able to in normal life. There games include flying in zero gravity and solving puzzles while shooting robots with lasers.

Parks to Visit 

Briarbend Park - This park is a nice option for families. It has a playground, picnic tables, and a gazebo. This park is safe and located in a good neighborhood. There is an open field, a playground, a gazebo, benches, picnic tables, and several trash cans. Behind the park is an entrance to a canoe launch—a great option for those with young children or who enjoy spending time outdoors.

Hedwig Park - This park offers plenty of space for children to spread out and have fun. It has four playgrounds—two for older kids, two for younger children—and two sets of toddler swings as well as two sets of regular swings. There are also picnic tables and climbing structures.

Briarmeadow Park - The park is a neighborhood favorite, featuring two playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic areas and open green space. The nature view and shade is beautiful, and the seating is good.

Susan C. Kellner Pocket Park - This park offers many ways to keep your children entertained. There are slides, swings, and other playground equipment. The park is also not too crowded.

Spring Valley Village City Park - This park is the perfect place to hang out with friends! This park includes two basketball courts and three tennis courts. Plus, theres a walking path around the perimeter of the park, perfect for morning runs or casual strolls.

Restaurants

Treebeards - This Southern cooking restaurant serves up fresh, tasty and hearty dishes like gumbo, jambalaya and classic red beans and rice. They also have salads and meat & two sides, plus gluten-free jalapeno cornbread and fresh veggies.

Island Grill - This is a Mediterranean restaurant serving healthy dishes with a signature Mediterranean twist. Family owned and operated since 2000, Island Grills quaint style and family friendly attitude will make you feel joy while you enjoy a healthy and tasty meal. They serve mediterranean pitas, seafood, burgers & sandwiches, pizzas and more!

The Buffalo Grille - Buffalo Grille is owned and operated by the 7th generation of our Texas family. They offer a wide array of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

Ember & Greens - This is a casual restaurant and bar in the Memorial neighborhood, serving up coal-fired creations and craft cocktails. The menu features health-conscious comfort food.

Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette-Memorial - This restaurants offers several choices on our charcoal- and applewood-burning grill including fish, steaks, spare ribs, chicken and burgers. We have a little bit of everything to please every palate.

Nicks Place - This is a neighborhood grill, with roughly 40 TVs for watching sports, pizza, Italian sandwiches & cold beer.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse - This is an upscale Brazilian chain feature all-you-can-eat meat carved at your table, along with an extensive salad bar.

Southwells Hamburger Grill - This counter-service chain, offering burgers, sandwiches, shakes and sides in a casual space, is a neighborhood favorite.

Los Tios - A local chain restaurant serving Mexican and Tex-Mex favorites with margaritas since 1970.

Memorial Terrace - This is a charming community in Piney Point Village, Texas, where youll find dozens of grocery stores, and hundreds of cafes and restaurants. The neighborhoods luxury homes offer an assortment of beautiful styles, varying sizes and affordable prices to choose from.

Surrey Oaks - Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac, Surrey Oaks is a neighborhood of luxury homes offering an assortment of beautiful styles and sizes.
